MyVibe Privacy Policy Last updated: September 15, 2026 OverviewMyVibe is published by Dobbins Innovation Labs, LLC. This policy explains what data the app handles and how. Short version: MyVibe does not collect, transmit, or share your personal data with Dobbins Innovation Labs or any third party. 1. What MyVibe StoresMyVibe stores the following on your device suing Apple’s standard local storage: - The moods you’ve enabled and disabled - Custom playlist overrides per mood - Whether location-based suggestions are turned on - Names, coordinates, and assigned moods for places you save - The Daily Vibe Score history (how many seconds you spent in each mood per day, last 30 days) - The count of completed Calm Mode sessions - Whether you’ve completed the first-run onboarding - Journal entries you write (mood name, date, and your note) - see Section 2 Most of this data stays entirely on your device. There is no MyVibe account, no MyVibe server, and no third-party analytics or advertising SDK in the app. Some preferences are shared between the main app and the MyVibe widget through Apple’s App Group mechanism - the data still remains on your device only. Journal entries are an exception and sync via iCloud as described below. 2. Vibe JournalIf you use the Vibe Journal (a Pro feature), the notes you write are stored on your device and synced across your Apple devices using iCloud Key-Value Storage. This sync is handled entirely by Apple’s iCloud infrastructure and governed by Apple’s privacy policy. Dobbins Innovation Labs never receives, processes, or has access to your journal content. You can delete individual entries inside the app, or delete the app entirely to erase all local data. iCloud copies can be managed in iOS Settings > Apple ID > iCloud > Managed Storage. 3. Apple Music MyVibe plays music through Apple’s MusicKit framework. The app asks permission to access your Apple Music subscription and library. With your permission, MyVibe also reads the list of playlists in your library so you can pick one as a custom override in Settings. We do not see, store, or transmit your Apple Music listening history, library contents, or subscription information. Apple handles all data exchange with Apple Music’s services under their privacy policy: https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy. 4. Spotify MyVibe can open a mood playlist directly in Spotify app if you select Spotify as your music service in Settings. When you tap a mood, MyVibe passes a playlist URL to the Spotify app via iOS standard URL scheme - no data passes through MyVibe’s servers. All playback, account handling, and data collection are governed by Spotify’s own privacy policy. 5. Location If you turn on “Suggest Moods By Location” in Settings, MyVibe asks permission to access. your location while the app is in use. Your location is used only on your device, only to check whether you are near a place you have saved (e.g., Home or Work), and only while MyVibe is open. Your location is never transmitted off your device, never logged, and never shared. You can turn the feature off any time in the Settings, or revoke location access in iOS Settings. 6. Motion Activity MyVibe uses CoreMotion to detect when you are in a moving vehicle. This is used only to suppress Calm Mode suggestions while you’re driving - Calm Mode involves eyes’-closed breathing and is not safe behind the wheel. Motion activity data is used in real time on your device and is never stored or transmitted anywhere. 7. Apple Maps If you use the place picker to search for an address, your searhc query is sent to Apple’s MapKit service to return results. This request is made directly by your device to Apple under Apple’s privacy policy. We do not see, store, or process the query. 8. Apple Health MyVibe interacts with Apple Health in two ways, both entirely optional: Writing: MyVibe can log completed Calm Mode sessions to Apple Health as Mindful Minutes. This only happens when you tap “Log to Apple Health” on the session completion screen. iOS ask for your permission the first time. Reading: If you opt in to Health Insights in Settings, MyVibe reads your recent sleep duration and heart rate variability from Apple Health to surface mood patterns and suggest Calm Mode when your body may benefit from it. This data is process entirely on your device and is never transmitted anywhere. Apple Health data is stored by iOS on your device under Apple’s own privacy controls. We never receive or transmit your Health data. You can revoke MyVibe’s Health permissions at any time in iOS Settings > Health > Data Access & Devices > MyVibe. 9. Vibesense and Apple Intelligence On iOS 26 and later with Apple Intelligence enabled, VibeSense uses Apple’s on-device language model to suggest a mood based on what you type or say. If you use the Journal Reflection feature, the model also reads your recent journal entries to generate a private weekly reflection. All of this processing happens on your device using Apple FoundationModels framework - nothing you type or your journal content is sent to Dobbins Innovation Labs or any external server. 10. ChildrenBecause almost all data stays on your device, you can erase everything MyVibe has stored by deleting the app. Journal entries that have synced to iCloud can be cleared from iOS Settings > Apple ID > iCloud > Manage Account Storage. There is nothing on our side to retain or delete. 11. Your RightsYou have full control over MyVibe’s data at all times: - Disable or remove any saved place in Settings - Reset any custom playlist override - Delete individual journal entries or all entries within the app - Revoke Apple Music, Location, Motion, or Apple Health permission in iOS Settings - Delete the app to remove every stored preference and local entry 13. Changes to this policyIf we update this policy, the “Last updated” date above will change. Material changes will be noted for at least 30 days. 14.
